For months I noticed this little restaurant in Greenwich V Mall and never thought to try it. On 4th of July my family decided to give it a go and we ordered take-away. I have to say that I was very surprised by the quality of the food and the value. We tried the beef wrap with fries - excellent and would definitely recommend it. We had the spicy chicken wings (which were boneless) and very tender - another hit. The BBQ ribs were OK but not the best. for the price I feel it should have been a half rack of ribs and not just 3 bones. It was not fall-of-the-bone ribs, so if you are a BBQ ribs expert and looking for authentic BBQ ribs give this a miss. The worst I would say were the nachos. Basically, store bough nacho chips with melted cheese and sour cream. The cheese tasted awful and there were no other accompaniments such as tomatoes or jalapeños provided. Best were the wraps and fries!!! They should also be a little bit more generous with the fries.

Thank you Kiss 92. My Son won Super Bruch for two at Lime Restaurant (Parkroyal Hotel). Ate till we could not walk. Excellent variety of food. Local, Asian, Western, all types. Great service, pleasant staff - would highly recommend this place. The best item by far was the Lobster Egg Benedict, Seafood corner was unbelievable (see picks below). Meats were OK. Desserts really rocked! But they should have the Macaroons also included and not at an extra charge. Even a station to roast marshmallows. If you like Durian, they even have that as an ice cream flavor. Coffee and tea to order, fresh squeezed juices, wine and sangria. You can definitely spend 2-3 hrs just eating if your stomach can take it.
ztraveller rating: 8/10 Just had lunch with my family at Café Iguana, Clark Quay Singapore. Truly the best Tex-Mex restaurant I have been to in Singapore. I have been to the place several times and it has great food. Right on the river with indoor and outdoor seating. Drinks are good, the Margaritas are well priced but the glasses are really small and watered-down. You are better to get the pitcher rather than to pay by the glass.
Went to Jamie Oliver's Vivo City location last Saturday (15 April). It was my first visit and I was all excited given the hype around Jamie Oliver and his cooking shows etc. Right from the beginning I was not impressed. The hostess was not the most friendliest or courteous person, not even a smile or a greetings. All she said was "How many people and follow me!" After sitting down and looking at the menu I started looking around and noticed that I could not spot even one staff smiling or looking like they were enjoying working at the restaurant. If the staff do not enjoy the place how are the patrons to?
Well the food was also disappointing. I was with my family and we each ordered something different; pasta, burger, and pizza. We also ordered an appetizer for the table which basically is an individual size. Seems like just a place to charge high prices for little value or taste. If you want to try it, go ahead but I would guess that this is a location that you go to only once. The taste of the food is bland, spicy pizza had to request extra chilly because it had zero spice in it. Burger meat did not seem to be marinated at all. We also had the tiramisu and that seemed to be soaked in so much alcohol that it was a sloppy mess. ztraveller rating: 2/10 Kang-Long-Tai-Zi Restaurant, Wuhan China across from the Museum of Civilization - Best in town4/14/2017 I ate at Kang-Long-Tai-Zi twice in the week that I was in Wuhan. Once we had a private dinning room for the group and the other time was in the main restaurant hall. Food is very good and amazing, this restaurant is famous for its Peking Duck. But, you need to order in advance otherwise they may run out of it before you arrive. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Wuhan, it is located right across the street from the museum of civilization.
ztraveller rating: 8/10 Just had an amazing dinner at Hokkaido Yakumo-cho near to Tokyo Station. After all the years of my travels to Tokyo I had food at this restaurant that I have never had before. The taste was amazing, the staff was attentive and very friendly. Great little restaurant. Hard to find unless you know where to look. The business with the address is below in the photos.
ztraveller rating: 8/10 Had dinner at Din Tai Feng Seletar Mall, Singapore, great food as usual, excellent and reasonable speed. had the Xiao Long Bao, Steamed Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Steamed Shrimp and Pork Shao-mai, Fried Rice with Shrimp and Egg, and the Spinach with Gatlic. All were excellent as usual. The only fault I can raise is they charge an extra $0.30 just for a small glass of tap water. Come on, this should be free given the price we are paying for the meal.
